The stack size is quite small and lacks a self-replenishment modifier, which forces the player to frequently go back to town to repair their weapon.
Thunderstroke is not a general-purpose weapon for player versus monster if Lightning Fury is typically used. In these situations, Thunderstroke performs a lot better than Titan's Revenge. Whearas Titan's Revenge gives a more consistent boost to all Javelin and Spear Skills, Thunderstroke is often used by Javazons to defeat bosses quickly using Charged Strike and against other people in player versus player due to the increased lightning damage and the reduction to the target's lightning resistance. I want to avoid respecting into being able to equip a Lance if at all possible, as my current build has been a wrecking ball so far. I have been pretty lucky with drops so far and have yet to die, but I foresee nightmare CS (where I currently am) being impossible without a non lightning based attack.
I have also toyed with the idea of maxing plague javelin for poison, but I don't know which would work better. I've started putting points into Valkyrie in hopes of eventually having a solid physical damage response to lightning immunes.
At this point I'm looking for educated opinions or even facts if anyone has them.Ĭurrently I'm level 60 with CS and LF maxed, and 11 points in Power strike for synergy.
